What should I bring to my first lesson? +

Please bring your provisional license and any necessary vision correction (glasses, or contact lenses). Comfortable, flat shoes are best for a safe and easy driving experience.

Do you teach nervous or anxious drivers? +

Absolutely. Our instructors are experienced with nervous drivers and create a calm, supportive environment to help you gain confidence behind the wheel.

Can I have a lesson review after each session? +

Yes, after each lesson, we’ll provide you with a quick review to highlight your strengths and weaknesses and what we will be working on in our next lesson.

What if I need to cancel a lesson? +

If you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson you will need to give us 48 hours notice or pay the cost of the lesson time booked as per our cancellation policy.

How many lessons will I need to pass my driving test? +

Everyone learns at their own pace, but on average, most learners need around 40 hours. It could take more or less, depending on how quickly you progress, and we’ll personalize your lessons to support your learning speed.

Can I learn to drive in my own car? +

Yes, as long as your car is insured for learner drivers, has L plates, and is roadworthy. We’ll discuss any necessary details with you beforehand.

Can I book back-to-back lessons for more practice? +

Absolutely! Many students find double sessions helpful, and we’re happy to arrange this if it suits your schedule.

Can I be picked up from different locations? +

Yes, we offer flexible pick-up locations within our service area. Just let us know where you’d like to be collected.

Can I practice with a friend or family member outside of lessons? +

Yes, as long as you have learner's insurance on the car, L plates displayed, and the person accompanying you is over 21 and has held their license for at least 3 years.

When should I book my practical driving test? +

Given current backlogs and extended wait times, we generally advise booking your practical test soon after passing your theory test. Your instructor will work closely with you to assess your progress and ensure the timing aligns with your readiness, so you can feel confident and prepared for test day.

How do I prepare for my first lesson? +

Get a good night’s sleep beforehand, bring your provisional license, and come ready to learn—first lessons can be exciting but also a bit tiring. We’ll guide you through each step and ensure you feel comfortable as you start your driving journey.
